TEKsystems is looking for an experienced Multimedia Designer/Developer who is able to work in a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate needs to be a self starter who is able to apply quality graphic design and layout to interactive courses and websites.
An (MMD) is responsible for working with a project team to provide graphical media and layout expertise. The MMD’s will follow a provided storyboard to assemble training content (graphics, text, images, animations, video) using Macromedia Flash. The MMD will then work with the project team (Project Manager and Instructional Designer) to ensure the final product is error free, customer approved, and archived, while working within a budget and deadlines.
Primary duties include:
• Design and layout custom graphics/interfaces using industry standard graphics applications
• Action Scripting and production work (in Macromed Flash )
• Make graphical and layout recommendations and/or-storyboard instructions for designing and assembling multimedia training courses.
• Occasional web programming
• Work within budgets and timelines
• Demonstrate organization while working on multiple/simultaneous projects
• Demonstrate excellent communication in a team environment (Project managers, instructional sign subject matter experts, graphic designers and programmers)
Education: Associates Degree or higher is preferred (Graphics/Multimedia or related field)
Skills:
• Must have 3+ years of demonstrated experience.
• Must have experience with CBT and/or WBT training application development.
• Must be proficient in Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Must have a good understanding of web technologies and technical implications to an eLearning course.
• Knowledge of video authoring for web applications is a plus
• Experience using HTML, DHTML, CSS, and/or Javascript is a plus
• Experience with PHP, ASP, MYSQL\Access, and SQL is a plus
• Must be well organized and have excellent communication skills.
• Being a self starter, driven, and detail oriented is extremely helpful.
